Love this family friendly restaurant. We go To Goatfeathers ever year and we have been visiting for over 15 years. Food is fresh and delicious! Best Greek salad I have ever had- crave it all year long. Seafood dishes melt in your mouth. Kids love the dinners too.
You can't visit Destin without going to Goatfeathers. The food is absolutely delicious. I've never had a bad meal there. The only downfall would be that's usually freezing in there, so take a light jacket with you!
A friend and I made a day trip to check out Seaside and Watercolor. Not particularly caring for the "packed house" nature of both locations, we opted to go back toward the west on 30-A. We came across this oddly named establishment and decided to give it a try. They had a nice dining room with windows that would have overlooked a gravel parking lot had they not added a water feature between two panes of glass in each large window across the back wall which filled the windows up with waterfall activity and that prevented diners from having to look at the gravel parking lot. The food was very tasty indeed. The prices were about on target given the "resortish" location of the eatery. I had grilled mahi mahi which was very good, and my friend had the biggest shrimp po boy I've ever seen and it had a lot of shrimp on it too. Aside from the appearance that there was only one person waiting all the tables, it was a great experience. I actually left a 30% tip because that one waiter knew his stuff and was johnny on the spot almost every time I thought I needed something. Not overly helpful, but just right!
